Why In-House Infusion

Add infusion to your 340B program.

FQHCs are referring infusion patients - and the revenue that comes with them - to hospital systems every day. An in-house suite keeps both in the building.

Our turnkey model adds the service line in under 90 days, without pulling your leadership off their day job or asking for a capital check.

A 4-8 chair infusion suite fits in the corner of an 8,000 sq ft FQHC - roughly 3% of your floor plan. No new building. No major renovation. Shared reception, restrooms, and intake flow.

Common Questions

Questions we hear from FQHC leadership.

Direct answers to what health center executives, CMOs, and pharmacy directors ask before they start.

A turnkey infusion center is an in-house infusion therapy suite built, staffed, and operated for a Federally Qualified Health Center by an outside partner. The FQHC contributes a small amount of existing clinic space (as little as 250 sq ft) and keeps the 340B-generated drug margin, while the partner pays for equipment, clinical hiring, credentialing, scheduling, and 340B compliance software.

A 4-8 chair infusion suite fits in approximately 250 sq ft - roughly 3% of a typical 8,000 sq ft FQHC. It shares reception, check-in, and restrooms with the existing clinical flow, so no new building or major renovation is required.

Zero upfront capital. Remy covers buildout, equipment, clinical staffing, credentialing, and compliance tooling. Our compensation comes from program performance after launch, not from the health center's budget. A traditional self-funded buildout typically runs $400K-$500K in year one.

Most FQHC partners see the first patient within 90 days of signing. The timeline covers space planning, equipment installation, nurse hiring and credentialing, payer enrollment, 340B compliance setup, and clinical protocol build-out.

Most infusion drugs administered to 340B-eligible patients qualify for 340B pricing. When an FQHC refers an eligible patient to a hospital-based infusion center, the 340B margin on that drug goes to the hospital. Running the infusion in-house keeps that margin inside the health center, where it can be reinvested in patient care.

Remy hires, credentials, and manages the infusion nursing team - including infusion nurses, nurse practitioners, and operational leads. The FQHC's own providers continue to order infusions and manage patient care; Remy handles the day-to-day staffing and scheduling of the suite.

Common indications include rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, asthma, iron deficiency anemia, osteoporosis, and select infectious disease protocols. The formulary is built around the patient mix of the specific FQHC.
